Support for anxiety in Surrey
Feeling anxious during stressful events or major life changes is normal, and generally no concern. However, if anxiety and worry becomes excessive and overwhelming, and is affecting your day-to-day life, it is a good idea to seek help.
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) is a common type of anxiety, along with panic disorder (with or without agoraphobia), phobias, social anxiety, health anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
If you are aged 17 and over, and registered with a GP in Surrey, you can self-refer for free typed cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) without needing to see your GP first.
