Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is an effective type of therapy used to treat a range of common mental health problems. This type of therapy works to help you manage different situations or problems by changing the way you think and behave.
How Ieso delivers CBT
Ieso Digital Health delivers CBT over the internet, meaning you can see your therapist from wherever you choose. Online CBT is delivered securely through our online therapy platform. At the time of your appointment, you simply log in and speak to your therapist by typing back and forth. Typed conversation removes the pressure of having a face-to-face conversation, and can allow you to express your true, inner feelings. Sessions usually take place once a week and last up to 60 minutes.

Your therapist will work closely with you to break down your problems and help you to change unhelpful thoughts and behaviour patterns to improve the way you feel
You’ll be asked to practice the skills you learn during your appointment between sessions and in your next session you will discuss how you got on in your next session

Throughout your treatment, your therapist will continue to ask questions about your mood and symptoms to help monitor change and target those areas that are most upsetting and persistent
