World Mental Health Day - The Future is Digital
Ahead of World Mental Health Day, Ieso Digital Health, a globally recognised health tech leader in digital cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is having a major impact in helping the NHS reach its challenging goals in mental healthcare delivery in the UK.
With more than 10,000 therapy hours already delivered in 2016, Ieso Digital Health enables patients to access cognitive behavioural therapy via written conversation at a pace and place that suits their schedule.
Working in partnership with the NHS, Ieso is helping to improve access, reduce referral backlogs and most importantly is improving outcomes to psychological therapy services for patients experiencing mild to moderate mental health problems such as depression, anxiety and stress.
Andy Blackwell, Chief Scientist Officer at Ieso Digital Health said:
“Right now we have a crisis in mental health in the UK, and digital technology has a big part to play in widening access and addressing the healthcare experience for those struggling with mental health conditions. Putting a computer between a patient and their therapist creates many new and exciting possibilities, and the ieso platform demonstrates how innovation in mental health technology is gaining traction to change lives by connecting patients with therapists in new ways, leading to better patient outcomes.”
