Ieso Digital Health shortlisted for HSJ Value in Healthcare Awards
Ieso Digital Health is delighted to announce that we have been shortlisted for an HSJ Value in Healthcare Award in the Value and Improvement in Mental Health category.
Chief Executive Officer, Barnaby Perks said: “We are thrilled to be recognised as part of the shortlist for this year’s HSJ Value in Healthcare Awards, which seek to recognise and reward outstanding efficiency and improvement by the NHS.
“The new award category looking at improvement in mental health services is an excellent step in the right direction to progressing the parity of esteem agenda.
"With one in four of us experiencing mental health problems at some point in our lives we believe parity of esteem between mental and physical health is vital. We have developed a secure service that can be accessed anywhere, at any time, which eliminates the wait for treatment so people can start overcoming their problems straight away."
The awards also seek out examples of demonstrable improvement in outcomes both within back office functions and clinical initiatives.
Ieso Digital Health’s service has been shown to bring 52% of patients to recovery, compared to 45% of other IAPT (Improving Access to Psychological Therapies, the government’s umbrella descriptor for talking therapies) services nationally. Furthermore, this recovery typically takes half the number of sessions as face-to-face therapy.
The winner of the HSJ Value in Healthcare Award will be announced this September at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
