Ieso Digital Health features on BBC TV Look North, Monday 20th November 2017. BBC Look North presenter, Jill Archibald, interviewed Sarah Bateup, Chief Clinical Officer at Ieso Digital Health, and Katie Goodwin, who suffers from post-natal depression and has used Ieso online therapy.
The item showed how patient referrals through Ieso have more than doubled in 2017. Speaking during her interview, Sarah Bateup, Chief Clinical Office at Ieso Digital Health, said:
“There is something that I call ‘The silent waiting list’. These are people who would never go to see their GP, and who haven’t even told their family or friends that they’re suffering. (With Ieso) they don’t have to speak to anyone if they don’t want to. They can go online and refer themselves. It really makes a huge difference”.
Ieso Digital Health, is a leading provider of online, evidence-based cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). More than 60% of Ieso therapy hours are delivered outside office hours removing stigma and accessibility to quality mental health as therapy can be done from the comfort and privacy of your home.
