FAQs

  • I do not have a DBS or it is more than 12 months old

If you do not have a DBS certificate or your certificate is more than 12 months old*, Ieso can apply for a new certificate on your behalf, at a cost to you.

*Please note that we will accept a copy of your DBS certificate if it is dated within the last 3 years. However, if it is more than 12 months old, please be aware that we must make an application for a new certificate at a cost to you within the first 6 months of you becoming an ieso therapist.

  • Will I be classed as self-employed?

Yes. Work undertaken with Ieso is freelance work.

  • What will my schedule be like?

When you complete the induction, you will be sent an availability questionnaire. This informs us as to when you are free to provide therapy. We offer therapy 24/7 so you can work at times that suit you.

  • How many patients do I see per week?

When you complete the availability questionnaire, there is a section to input how many patients per week you would like to see. The minimum number of patients you can see is 3. Like in usual face-to-face therapy, each patient retains the same therapist.

  • What does my professional indemnity insurance need to cover me for?

    £1 million +

  • Am I ready to attend an induction?

Once you have returned a signed contract you will be invited to attend an induction. If you attend an induction and cannot start seeing patients within 2 weeks of the induction date, you may be asked to complete the induction again.
